Fact: one of my favorite things on this whole earth to do, is drive.
plover, wi
So the other day, I drove on over to Stevens Point area, where this guy ⤴ lives when he's not off hauling lumber or pulling invasive species or gallivanting of some sort. And it was a lovely time. highlights included:
stinkin' cute basset hounds
a pop quiz on the colors on my dashboard and their meanings
neato places, like Emy J's and Sugar Doll and Belt's Ice Cream
embarrassing high school photos
the office + family famous popcorn
soft southern accents all around
scones and rosemary bread
the forest for a backyard
steer wheel drumming to this song
it rained all day- praise God for that peace

Tucker, the cutest pup around
poorly executed gymnastics moves
Oshkosh country roads- the bomb diggity
a long long walk to frozen yogurt bliss
too many puns but still not enough
a perfect sleepover on the pullout couch
raw hearts that seek answers

Little adventures are wonderful things. If they're not in your usual list of weekly activities, I suggest you add it promptly. Grab a few great cd's, some trail mix, a map, and a friend if you want, and just drive. It's so worth it. Well, in my opinion at least.
