Yesterday I asked Adam if he wanted to go on a photography adventure. He said yes. So we grabbed our cameras and drove for a while, until we found a place we liked; a forest that looked promisingly wander-able from the side of the road. We got out of the car and walked around. He said, "give me a word." So I said, "quiet." Then he said "Capture quietness." Then we ventured off on our own, to explore the softness and stillness of creation. And all was quiet except for the snapping of the camera lens and our feet on the forest floor.
And it was simply beautiful.
And it was simply beautiful.

Yesterday was simply one of my favorite days. Here's why:
-I went to two pancake breakfasts in one morning
-It was one of my dearest friends birthdays
-Holly and Alexis and Ella and Carly and Emily
-Adventuring with Alexi and Anna
-Randy's for lunch
-Mt. Simon
-Promise by Ben Howard with Alexi
-photography adventures with Adam
-playing guitar alone for a long time
-celebrating my Megsy's birthday
-cheese curds (my favorite. seriously.)
